Do you know a romantic place to go close to San Diego/Riverside and away from the city, ex.forest, mountains? - san diego bed and breakfast
My husband is returning from Iraq and we want (up to 3 nights out of town no more than an hour drive to go). One option was Julian. Any Bed and breakfast place that you stay there? I do not believe in another place, but I want to go somewhere far from the city, perhaps only for couples. We do not want to go to the beach with our children as we go weeks after publication. I also have the place as it is too cold to snow.

What Casa del Zorro in Borrego Springs? Beautiful hotel resort. It casitas (small separate private suites) have private Jacuzzis. "D very romantic and very private. And the food is wonderful. You can play golf and tennis, if you have the power ;-)
Then stop at the Julian Pie Co on the way home and bring cake for all.

Have you ever been at Palomar Mountain? their beautiful 6000 meters above sea level. I could never think of her San Diego. about an hour and a half, but it's worth it!
